This can make the air inside of a house very dry which makes the itching and dry skin associated with eczema even worse. To replace moisture in your internal environment, use a humidifier. This added moisture will keep your skin from becoming dry, cracked, itchy and irritated.


Put your moisturizer on when the skin is damp. This will help your skin retain the most moisture throughout the day. Blot the skin by using a towel so as to prevent removal of too much natural moisture. Then you can put on your moisturizer. This should be a process that takes just a few minutes after bath time.
